International Opportunities for St Mary's Undergraduate Students
All undergraduate students at St Mary’s have the opportunity to apply for an Erasmus+ placement during the second semester of their second year of study. The College has bilateral agreements with over thirty universities elsewhere in Europe to facilitate student mobility. The programme is funded by the European Union and provides grants to students. Many of the universities involved are able to accept students with no foreign language requirements and to provide courses for students whose only language is English. Approximately forty students per year avail of this opportunity.
Opportunities to study at St Mary's as an International Student
St Mary's is a welcoming place and each year we are pleased to enrol over sixty international students through the Erasmus+ programme as well as the Irish American Scholars Programme. Enquiries should be addressed to the International Secretary Briege Ellis.
There are also new mobility programmes for BEd and BA students to study in the USA, China and Africa. St Mary’s encourages students to avail of the opportunities offered by these programmes.
