Admissions and Course Vacancies

St Mary’s is a Catholic higher education institution which welcomes applications from people of any faith and none. Applications are considered in accordance with the College’s Admissions Policy, which is aligned with that of Queen’s University, with whom St Mary’s enjoys a collaborative partnership of academic provision.

St Mary’s does not use the UCAS scheme for the purpose of Admissions, so applications must be made directly to the college. Prospective undergraduates typically apply both to St Mary’s, and to other institutions via UCAS.

Current Applicants Awaiting Decisions

Existing applicants may view updated information concerning their application with effect from

Wednesday, 11 August 2021 at 2.00 p.m. - using the application status page

For applicants whose results are exclusively GCE A levels with CCEA, decisions may be made earlier than this date and time. This also applies to applicants whose results are already known but have not yet received an offer.

Guidelines concerning the notification of examination results and the decision making process are available by clicking here. In order to make decisions as quickly as possible, it is essential that applicants send us their results (other than CCEA A level/ AS level results) in line with the guidelines issued. If no decision has been made, this may be due to an incomplete set of examination results or responses are awaited from others who have been made an offer. Facilities will be available for you to check results outstanding and view the current level of offer for each course.
