St Mary’s addressed its strategic priorities very effectively during 2008-2009.
In particular there was an increased emphasis on external review of academic quality.
Self-evaluation and inspection of the BEd programmes by the Education and Training Inspectorate as well as an
Educational Enhancement Process organised by Queen’s University verified that academic standards at St Mary’s are very high.
St Mary’s places a strategic emphasis on providing a top quality
educational experience for
all its students. We emphasise close staff engagement with students
and comprehensive student support services. Our investment in
caring for our students is reflected in the exceptional outcomes
reported in the National
Student Survey.
