St Mary’s University College, St Peter’s
Cathedral and the Falls Leisure Centre teamed up with the Brooklyn
Borough Hall and New York’s Intrepid Sea, Air and Space
Museum to cast the blue and white colours most associated with
Mother Teresa on what would have been her 100th birthday.
The College Principal, Professor Peter Finn said “St Mary’s
was very pleased to mark this important occasion in honour of
Blessed Teresa of Calcutta. We believe that it is important to
enable her message to penetrate our hearts.”
