Arkwright Scholar Presents his Project to the Northern Ireland Engineering Policy Group

Scholar Colum McNally of St Colman's College, Newry, presented his safe hydraulic log splitter technology project to the Northern Ireland Engineering Policy Group (EPGNI) at its January meeting at Queen's University Belfast. The EPGNI is a top-level policy body managed by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and composed of senior academic and industrial engineers from a range of engineering disciplines.

The presentation was well received and led to some lively discussions about Colum's project in particular and the Arkwright Engineering Scholarships in general.
