Awards

Awards available at M level are:

  • Master of Education (MEd)
  • Diploma in Advanced Studies in Education (DASE)
  • Advanced Certificate in Education (AdvCertEd)

Entry Requirements

Candidates for admission to the Masters level programme should normally hold either:

(i) Qualified teaching status and an honours degree or equivalent qualification; or

(ii) An honours degree or equivalent qualification with at least two year's professional experience in an education, training or professionally related context; or

(iii) A degree or equivalent qualification with at least five year's professional experience in an educational or training context.

Fees

In the academic year 2010-2011 the fee will be £600 per 30 point module. The dissertation is equivalent to two 30 point M-level modules and attracts the equivalent fee of £1200.
