- To support actively the teaching and learning environment.
- To promote the best interests of the College and its students
and to facilitate student/graduate access to employers, training
providers and other external organisations.
- To assist the College in responding to the changing employment
and training market for its students and to provide information
on trends in graduate employment and further study.
THE AIMS ARE MET THROUGH THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMMES AND SERVICES
Individual Career Guidance
Short discussions with the careers officer service available daily,
or if required, a pre-arranged detailed consultation. Access to
“Prospects Planner”, a computerised careers guidance
programme.
Careers Education
Programmes relating careers management/skills development, workshops/briefings
on specific topics, seminars, obligatory careers lectures.
