All undergraduate students at St. Mary’s have the opportunity
to apply for an Erasmus placement during the second semester of
their second year of study. The College has bilateral agreements
with over thirty universities elsewhere in Europe to facilitate
student mobility. The programme is funded by the European Union
and provides grants to students. Many of the universities involved
are able to accept students with no foreign language requirements
and to provide courses for students whose only language is English.
There are also new mobility programmes for BEd and BA students
to study in the USA. St. Mary’s encourages students to avail of
the opportunities offered by these programmes.
